Over the last fifteen years, Shelta Richardson has worked within the Early Learning industry. From the moment she entered the field, she possessed a passion for helping schools succeed. Whether it was working for faith-based schools, corporate child care, or consulting with schools across our nation, she has spent a significant part of her career taking schools that were struggling for one reason or another, and turning them into high quality programs, with strong teams, that were fiscally responsible. Shelta has implemented policies and procedures that have a proven track-record for success. She has partnered with individuals as they build new schools...walking them through ground breaking to grand opening.
The more Shelta worked with schools, she became convinced that schools could have high quality programs and still be fiscally responsible. ….and it was with this passion that she shaped her own educational path. Shelta holds a Master’s Degree in both Business Administration and Education from Mid America Nazarene University. It was within this academic arena and workplace that she was able to test out strategies and create tools that would help schools thrive in all areas of operation. Shelta has a passion to see Centers thrive throughout our nation by building strong teams, delivering solid curriculum implementation, while at the same time establishing a solid financial foundation.
Shelta has two girls, Elizabeth and Ashley. Elizabeth, her oldest daughter, have blessed her with three grandchildren: Jason, Rosaleen, and Alec.
